1 February- Indian Coast Guard Day

2 February (2february) – World Wetlands Day
World Wetland Day is celebrated internationally every year on 2 February. World Wetland Day is organized to raise global awareness about the important role of wetlands for people and our planet. Let us tell you that on this day in the year 1971, a Convention on Wetlands was adopted in Ramsar city of Iran on the coast of Caspian Sea. World Wetlands Day was first celebrated on February 2, 1997, on the completion of 16 years of the Ramsar Convention.
2 February – RA Awareness Day
RA Awareness Day is Rheumatoid Arthritis Awareness Day and is celebrated on 2 February to spread awareness for patients suffering from rheumatoid arthritis.
2 February – Surajkund Crafts Fair
Surajkund Crafts Mela is celebrated from 2 February to 18 February 2024 at Surajkund, District Faridabad, Haryana. It is a celebration of Indian folk traditions and cultural heritage. Let us tell you that in this fair, the richness and diversity of India’s handicrafts, handlooms and cultural fabric can be seen. She was the first Indian woman president of the Indian National Congress and the first woman Governor of the United Provinces, now known as Uttar Pradesh.
